19th Week of Pregnancy


Your baby’s body is covered with little hairs, which will disappear before birth, also, permanent teeth begin to develop. Baby needs iron to form red blood cells. In the brain, the baby’s sensory perception starts to develop including a sense of taste, smell, hearing, vision, and touch.

Any physical exertion may leave you breathless and sweating. You will weigh noticeably more.

Changes in your thyroid functions will affect your metabolism.

Your palms may be red, caused by increased estrogen levels in your body.

Your heart, which is working at full capacity, can still handle moderate physical exertion, working, jogging, yoga. Pay heed to your body and don’t overdo it. Whilst you are pregnant, you should avoid any type of sport, like football and tennis, which demand strenuous exercise or can cause trauma.

If you have kids, you should start to prepare them for the arrival of the new member.
