How to Fold Towels for a Gift


Terry Towel Teddy Bear

Terry towels are practical gifts. Follow these instructions to fold a terry towel into a cute teddy bear for gift-giving.

Materials:

  • Terry towels, preferably in size 50×70 cm
  • One big rubber band and two smaller rubber bands
  • Satin ribbon

Instructions:

  1. Place the towel on a flat surface with the label or hanging eyelet on the left side.
  2. Fold the left side of the towel over to the center line.
  3. Curl the towel up to the center from both sides.
  4. Hold the roll firmly and turn it around on the table.
  5. Make sure that the thicker part of the roll remains on the left.
  6. With your right hand, support the towel and fold the left half of the towel back to its initial position.
  7. Make a twist between the thicker and thinner part of the towel.
  8. Flip the right half of the towel over the twist to the left and fix the neck of the teddy bear using the bigger rubber band.
  9. Fold the top corners of the towel down to form the teddy bear’s ears and secure them with the smaller rubber bands.
  10. Shape the body, arms, and head of the teddy bear.
  11. Tie a satin ribbon around the teddy bear’s neck to complete the gift.

Terry Towel Envelope

  6. Now, take the top corners of the remaining unfolded part of the towel and fold them down to create a triangle shape.
  7. Fold the triangle on the rectangle to create the envelope shape.
  8. Finally, tie the towel together with a satin ribbon to keep it securely wrapped and add a touch of elegance.
